It is the memorial park by the police station at the head of main street were the old town hall used to be.
There was a town hall there? On that corner? When was that?
It was laid out with the front facing towards the church parallel with Summer street. It had the same feel as the current town hall, but I think it was a little more swanky. It was built in 1867 and burned in 1920.
