We already have a winner for Week 8! In fact, we had a winner by 12:30 this afternoon.
Congratulations to Joe Merry! He and his lovely wife will be enjoying their pint of Haagen Daaz Brown Sugar Ice Cream...with two spoons in the sun, no doubt. If he shares, that is.
The image was taken at the Kennebunk Dog Park on Sea Road. How Joe knows that I cannot guess; he doesn't even have a dog. Want one, Joe? (a dog that is - I have an extra)
In upcoming posts I'll show you some pics from Mom's wedding, and discuss some of the highlights. Maybe even a short video of my cousin doing the "sprinkler" dance. And, I'll also share with you some very odd letters that were left in my recycling bin in my driveway this afternoon. That's right, we RECEIVED paper recyclables in OUR bin today. Were you so lucky? I think not. It's a mystery, but has given us some good laughs and good blog material. And of course, next Thursday, new image.

8. My husband and kids are not allowed to participate - sorry guys. Please don't bribe them for the answer, unless the bribe is something yummy they can share with me.

Here's how you Snippet...
I will post a literary "snippet" - a tasty little morsel of verbiage that I've found in a book, movie, song, conversation, or just pulled from thin air.
Your job is to add to it. You can add a beginning and lead into the snippet, or you can work from the snippet, heading to an ending. You can write a song with it, or a poem, or just add another sentence, paragraph or dissertation. How much you add and in what direction is completely up to you.
Be sure to read the responses that others have posted. That's half the fun. But, you don't have to continue on from someone else's response.
