It's what's outside

The weather here in the Northeast is improving. It's fairly warm this week, and yesterday it hit 60 - which was way too nice. We didn't know what to do with ourselves.
But here are a couple of images of the way things LOOK still. Ick. This is the ugliest time of year. So muddy and dirty and even the snow looks gross. Another couple of weeks, when the green begins to grow, it will be better. For now, we just keep our gaze indoors.

This is a pile of snow, likely built up by the city's snowplows over the course of our 21 storms. See the fence at the right? That's an 8' high fence - just for a frame of reference.
Doesn't look like snow, does it?

And this is freezing rain on the window, sliding down toward the sill, where it stacked up like a game of Tetris. It was pretty, for a minute. But honestly, it's April, man.
