LAST WEEKEND IN THE CAR...Jake - Hey, I finally figured out what I’m gonna do when I’m a grown-up.
Mom - Oh yeah? What?
Jake - Well, after I get out of college? And get a car? I’m gonna get a parakeet.
Mom - You’re gonna get a PARAKEET? That’s what you’re gonna do when you grow up?
Jake - Yeah, and when Dad comes over? I’m gonna train it to say “Hey dummy, hey dummy.”
Dad - Nice.
Jake - Oh yeah, I’m gonna do one other thing too.
Dad - What?
Jake - I’m gonna go to a Green Day concert.
Dad - So that’s it? When you grow up you’re gonna get a car and a parakeet and go see a concert. No job, no family…
Jake - Mmm…Oh! And someday I’ll get married. THEN I’ll get a parakeet!
Mom - Oh yeah? What?

Do you know how OLD Green Day will be when Jake grows up?! Dan says they'll be singing about how their mutual funds don't perform anymore!
Well maybe so, but I just went to see a Prince concert a couple of years ago, and people still go to see the Rolling Stones and Van Halen - even though they all closely resemble the Grim Reaper at this point.
