Ooooh, it's windy Piglet.

The Coastal Northeast. It's beautiful here, sometimes. It can also be brutal. We are lucky to live so close to the ocean as we get a lot less snow than those of you who live further in. But, when the wind picks up, it really whips here. It's biting and unrelenting. Today is such a day. The trees haven't had a break all day - moaning and groaning, crackling and howling. It's one of those days when you open your car door a crack and the wind grabs it and flings it open so hard you're sure it's going to blast right off the car.
However, these are the days for a ride to the sea. This is when she shows us what she's really made of. The sun shines on the waves so they glisten as they pound pound pound on the rocks, and bits of icy cold frigid water fly into the air, anxious to escape her thundering brooding.
Alas, I probably won't make it out to the ocean today. I have a pizza party to go to with my son's basketball team. We'll create our own storm, I'm sure.
